There are as many roads to truth as travelers, and our monthly journal Routes honors the multitude of avenues taken to understand ourselves, other species, and the world we share.
As Henry and I travel the country on backroads and highways, we often arrive at places we never set out to find. Sometimes we go in circles. But inevitably the most enlightening experiences have come from the unexpected encounters that occur when I am sure we are totally lost.
Our routes through life may each be unique, but they are always shared in some way. Through a forest, down a corridor, on land or undersea, this publication aims to give voice to the unseen and unnoticed -- the beings in our midst who might raise a hand, a fin, a hoof or a paw for acknowledgement and help, if they could.
In each issue you'll find four regular departments featuring personal essays, interviews, thought experiments and examples of the ways images and messaging has influenced beliefs and perceptions. Throughout, you'll find links to related content on the Moments Of Truth Project website, and opportunities to share your thoughts, questions and feedback.
