on the road to here
I am a writer, photographer and documentary filmmaker based in Northern California.
For twenty years my work producing multimedia has served universities, companies and non-profits. In 2015, I created the Moments of Truth Project as a vehicle to produce and present my own documentary stories.
I’m the author of Borderlines (Random House), a memoir that traces the challenges of navigating young adulthood and a complicated friendship following the loss my mother.
My photography has appeared in The Sun Magazine, and in 2017 I contributed this article about the Great Bear Rainforest to LAIKA magazine.
I also contributed principle photography and editing to the documentary short KILLING GAMES: WILDLIFE IN THE CROSSHAIRS, produced by Project Coyote. The short has been an official 2018 selection at the Wild & Scenic Festival, the Animal Film Festival, the Santa Barbara Film Festival and the Wildlife Conservation Film Festival.
In the fall of 2018, I completed the Moments Of Truth Project's first feature length documentary, MOMENTS OF TRUTH, which looks at beliefs around the human-animal relationship by taking to the road for two years with my dog Henry to engage people in conversations about our often paradoxical relationship with other species, and the environments we share.
